This stay will forever set the bar really high for our BnB stays. It’s all we ever wanted: Sheila and Allan are so welcoming and their conversations are so interesting. They made sure right away that we felt very comfortable, and their attention to details is unmatched. The breakfast was delicious and they are so easy to talk about accommodations like gluten free. The house is spotless and so clean. We felt like we were visiting family. The location of the house was a perfect home base for our couple days of exploring around (Inverness, fort Williams, glen Affric, working sheepdogs, isle of Skye…) it was so convenient and we were looking forward to come back every night to our cosy stay. They know the area really well and are so resourceful with great recommendations. We will remember the restaurant in the hotel 10 minutes away for a long time. I can’t believe they do not charge more for the room, as I felt like it was a luxurious stay. We stayed in other BnB close by and the experience was completely different, more like a fast and cheap stay, nothing like here. I think anybody visiting Scotland needs to spend a couple nights here. We will be back! Thank you so much for everything

My sister and I loved our one night at this cozy home on a serene property in a quiet neighborhood. This location would be suited for day trips to the Inverness area, Skye, Ben Navis, etc. Our bedroom and the beds were so comfortable, the bathroom was large, modern and clean, and the breakfast was outstanding!! It included everything our heart could possibly desire and it was enjoyed around the dining room table with a few other guests. Sheila was a delight, and has amazing attention to detail. She thought of everything - this BnB has every amenity including coffee, milk, tea, water in the room, DVDs to borrow, hair dryers, shampoo and conditioner, large towels, etc. and she gives you a thorough walk-through to ensure you know where everything is and how everything works. Allan helped prepare the tasty breakfast. Their place is really special and I would’ve enjoyed more time there.

Where to begin. This is truly an exceptional property run by exceptional people. The care taken is evident in every aspect of your stay. From the mini-fridge in your room with chilled milk for your morning coffee to the little Summer House out back to relax in after checkout, this was a place to remember. Breakfast is served around a square table causing the guests to interact with each other. Allen and Shiela have designed it this way because they believe it's important to feel comfortable in their "home away from home" and want to encourage interaction. Breakfast was sumptuous, room was thoughtfully appointed (even had USB outlets!), they have thought of everything so you don't have to! I could go on and on about this special place.

Everything - truely amazing room and hosts. It is their home too. Modern facilities in room as in filter kettle, fridge, coffee machine. Fully stocked with coffee pods/tea bags etc with fresh milk in the fridge and bottles of water. USB sockets, Wi-Fi, tv. Choice of breakfasts and whether to have in your room or at shared table. We had continental in our room it was massive with fresh fruit salad, croissants, butter, jam, berries, yogurt, muesli. A lot is home made and tastes delicious. It is in a very rural location but hosts provide very exact directions and are very friendly and approachable. Beautiful setting and saw deers on the drive at 6am when I woke up. Great location for Loch Ness and surrounding areas.

Originally, we had planned to spend 3 nights at 3 different places in the highlands. It was crazy! Then we found the Binnilidh Mhor B&B and made it our hub for all our highland's days. We really loved everything. The rooms are large and well kept. The bathrooms are huge compared to your average UK wc. Sheila and Allan are really nice people and will do their best to make your stay easy. The breakfast is made to order by Allan and was a wonderful start to our days. We will definitely stay again when we get the chance to come back.
